These nylon filter bags ensure that when pressing rosin no plant remains (leftovers of weed or hash) are left behind in your dabs. How to Make Rosin?

Do you want to make rosin? Then you need a rosin press, parchment paper and a dabber (see recommended products). Oh, yes, and a decent amount of weed or hash, of course. For the best result, put your weed or hash in these filter bags. You then wrap them in parchment paper, heat up the rosin press and put the complete package in it. Apply hard pressure to the press for a few seconds and then get the package out of it. You’ll see that the buds/hash remain in the rosin bag while the pure concentrate is on the parchment paper. Without a nylon filter bag, these two are mixed together and your concentrate is less pure.

In contrast to other extraction methods, with the so-called ‘Rosin Tech’ no use is made of explosive butane gas or chemical substances.

Different Mesh Widths

You can choose between the 3 different mesh widths we stock: 30 µm, 50 µm and 120 µm. The first two (30 and 50) are best for pressing kief or hash, the last one (120) is best for pressing weed. 

This is to do with how quickly the concentrate comes out of the material. Kief or bubble hash melts quite quickly. The concentrate has a lot of time to find its way through the rosin bag. Therefore, a mesh width of 30 or 50 is sufficient. With hash it’s a bit trickier. Hash contains more plant remains which makes it more difficult for the concentrate to flow through the nylon. A mesh width of 50 is recommended. With weed, the concentrate has to pass through all the nooks and crannies of the bud. Moreover, there are big chunks of plant remains which make it many times more difficult to flow through the bag. A mesh width of 120 is recommended.
