Properties and effects of Chaga Mushroom

The birch weather fungus, as we call it in Dutch, is mainly found in the far north on birch trees as a parasitic growth. In the wild, chaga eats the tree it grows on. Chaga looks most like a charred piece of wood, but please do not let its unattractive appearance deceive you.

In Russia and northern Europe, chaga was already used in the 16th century for its beneficial properties. The chaga mushroom was said to promote good physical and mental health, hence its nickname "The Diamond of the Forest". Foodsporen has put a great effort into putting a broad spectrum of chaga ingredients into the pipette bottle. The mushrooms are harvested in a sustainable, high-tech way and directly extracted. The extraction is done in three different ways so that no substances are lost. Next, the extract is dissolved in 20% alcohol to obtain a super strong tincture.

Usage and Content of Chaga Mushroom Extract

Use a maximum of 10 drops of chaga mushroom extract 3 times daily. Stick to this quantity. A glass jar of chaga mushroom extract from Foodsporen contains one of the following volumes:

• 30 ml - around 750 drops
• 50 ml - around 1250 drops
• 100 ml – up to 2500 drops
