Rolled-up green tea leaves look a bit like gunpowder. The earliest use of green tea (Camellia sinensis) in this exclusive format can be traced back the Chinese Tang dynasty between the years 618-907. Even back then, healing properties were assigned to green tea. This gunpowder green tea is high quality and suitable either for brewing tea or for vaping in a vaporizer.
Effects of Green Tea in the Vaporizer
Green tea naturally contains many antioxidants and a mild amount of caffeine. Putting green tea in your vaporizer will give you a healthy energy boost. These finely rolled gunpowder leaves also make it really easy to put the tea in your herb chamber. Fill the herb chamber to the brim with rolled-up leaves. Tamping it down is fine but don’t crush the rolls.
What Temperature for the Vaporizer?
Set your vaporizer to 178°C, or if it’s not that accurate then choose a temperature between 175°C and 200°C.
Brewing Gunpowder Green Tea - Camellia sinensis
Needless to say, you can also brew tea with these herbs. The rolls unfold themselves in hot water. Use a fine tea sieve or tea egg for that. Fill the sieve or egg with herbs and leave it to steep in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. Then enjoy it!
