Muskoka Magic Truffles

Muskoka is Maka's brand name for galindoii truffles. Galindoii mushrooms were first discovered in Mexico and later in the US state of Georgia. They produce sclerotia, which are tiny clumps of nutrients packed with psilocybin - the active ingredient that can make you trip. The extent to which you freak out depends largely on the strain, set and setting and dosage of the truffle, as well as your body weight and whether you have eaten. The Effects of Magic Truffles Makanaut

Assuming a normal dose (5-10 grams), within an hour or so of taking Makanaut truffles, you may experience a laughter kick. This is because the active ingredient psilocybin fools your brain. The laughter is caused because the substance mimics our pleasure hormone serotonin. It also kicks off an intense visual trip.

What you should know before using magic truffles

The strength and dosage is different for each species and individual sensitivity is also different for each person.
If you are using sclerotia or magic truffles for the first time, it is best to take half a dose for a normal trip. If you are experienced and want a stronger trip, take 10 to 15 grams of magic truffles. Don't eat beforehand. An empty stomach gives the best absorption and effects. The magic truffles should be chewed well and long and then swallowed. The taste is not for everyone. The taste is nutty and somewhat bitter. A kind of hard shiitake. Because you eat them on an empty stomach, magic truffles can sometimes cause nausea complaints in the first hour. These complaints will go away by themselves. After about 45 minutes, a truffle trip starts that can last up to 6 to 8 hours.

Make sure you are in a safe environment. If you have little or no experience with a truffle trip, make sure there is a sober friend present who takes his or her role seriously.

The Effects of Magic Truffles

The active substances in Magic Truffles are psilocybin and psilocin. These substances from the tryptamine family are very similar in structure to DMT. Because 5-10 grams of magic truffles turn off this filter, you become more creative and the world seems different from normal.

10-15 grams of magic truffles

Expect kaleidoscopic effects, even with eyes open. Faces and objects have constant wavy movements. Mild hallucinations occur and you lose sense of time. Note that only experienced psychonauts can consider eating an entire bowl of magic truffles. Everything around you starts to completely change with 15 grams of magic truffles. Microdosing (0.5 - 1 gram Magic Truffles)

Now that we have described the usual doses for you, we also want to tell you what to expect if you take very little magic truffles. So little that you won't trip, but side effects will occur. This is called microdosing. If you take half a gram of magic truffles, you can expect to feel clearer and colour and sound to become more intense. Still, it is definitely not advisable to operate any equipment and even when microdosed, it is forbidden to participate in traffic.

Use

You can simply eat truffles or make tea of them. Both on an empty stomach. Chew the magic truffles for a long time before swallowing them. Truffle tea can be flavoured with a tea of your choice or honey. Allow the magic truffles (cut into small pieces) to infuse for about 20 minutes in water that is hot enough not to touch, but definitely do not let the water boil. Pour the truffle tea through a fine sieve or coffee filter. Squeeze or squeeze out as much of the truffle bits as possible. You can throw away the remainder or still eat it.

Storage

Store magic truffles in their original packaging (unopened) in the fridge. The expiry date tells you exactly how long you can postpone the trip. Do you have some truffles left over? Want to keep Magic Truffles for longer than a month? Then you will have to dry them, but never with heat. Then the active substances will be lost. Never put fresh truffles in the freezer either. The cell membranes will break and the potency will be much weaker. Well-dried truffles can be put in the freezer in a grip bag. Then they can last for years.
