Sterile Substrate for Mushrooms
If you don’t want to choose, have a special strain in mind, or want to grow next level with liquid culture, then this neutral grow kit is the ideal product. This container contains sterilized nutrient base (substrate) to inject yourself with the liquid culture of your choice.

Instructions and QR code
This grow kit without fungus is perfectly suited for all strains of the Psilocybe cubensis species. Easy-to-use liquid culture syringes for cultivation are, for example, McKennaii and Golden Teacher. More challenging are strains you have crossed yourself, or syringes with fungal culture from other species such as Panaeolus cyanescens.
If you want to grow a Cubensis strain, we recommend scanning the QR code on the packaging. Follow the instructions for grow kits with a yellow sticker (with the strain name written on it). There you will find a library of detailed explanations, cultivation info, and tips for a safe and responsible trip. This way, you always have the right knowledge within reach.
Sterile Substrate
This kit does not contain fungus, but a mix of nutrients for your own mushrooms. You must inject it with a liquid culture syringe of your choice by inserting the needle through the white circle in the lid.
So do not open the lid when doing this, because the substrate will definitely become contaminated.
- Needles in a liquid culture kit are sterile packed. Only open them when you are completely ready for injection.
- Disinfect the white circle on the lid of the sterile grow kit by wiping it with an alcohol swab provided with your liquid culture.
- Take the needle out and attach it to the liquid culture syringe.
- Insert the needle at an angle through the white circle on the lid of the sterile grow kit and inject the entire liquid culture into the grow kit.
Tip: The fungus grows fastest if you inject at different sides. But do not remove the needle in between. Rotate the needle in different directions while it is still inside and inject the liquid culture completely.

Storage
Store this sterile substrate in the refrigerator at 3 to 6 °C. This way, it stays good for 3 to 6 months.
