Master Kush is also known as High Rise or Grandmaster Kush. This strain came originally from the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan and the north of Pakistan. Kush is one of the weed plants being legally grown by the British firm GW Pharmaceuticals for testing medicinal cannabis. Master Kush contains a relatively high percentage of caryophylene, one of the effects of which is to give it a fairly spicy/peppery taste.

But in addition, this energy-enhancing indica makes a great, recreational weed for during the day. Master Kush is the favourite weed of Snoop Dogg, also known as Snoop Lion. He mentioned this in an interview with BNN after appearing in Tilburg.
