Crownow Supercool Growbox for Mushrooms
The Crownow Supercool growbox is a state of the art, fully automatic grow cabinet specifically designed to cultivate mushrooms with minimal effort. This internal grow system offers a complete and user friendly solution that allows you to start growing Psilocybe cubensis varieties and many other mushrooms right away.
Advice for mushrooms
For best results, choose a 1200cc mushroom container. It fits perfectly inside this mushroom growbox. Smaller containers will also fit without issue.
All cubensis varieties are suitable: from B+ and Mexicana to albino strains, Penis Envy and of course our bestsellers McKennaii and Golden Teacher. We have not yet tested Copelandia (Panaeolus cyanescens), but we expect this to work without problems as well. This system is not suitable for azurescens and other wood loving outdoor species, as they require a nutrient rich substrate with active microbial life.
Lion’s Mane, reishi, oyster mushroom and cordyceps grow kits also perform very well in this growbox, offering plenty of possibilities.
Why use a mushroom growbox?
The Supercool growbox by Crownow takes over most of the work involved in traditional mushroom cultivation. Thanks to an integrated climate system with lighting and air circulation, humidity is automatically increased so there is no need to spray with a plant mister. No app is required and operation is simple: place your grow kit inside, fill the water reservoir, start the grow cycle and the unit handles the rest.

How the Crownow Supercool Growbox works
The LED lighting provides the correct spectrum for different growth phases. Light influences both color and growth direction, helping mushrooms grow upright. Air circulation and controlled humidity create stable conditions that support strong development, comparable to other modern systems such as Shrooly, but without complex app control.
Integrated climate system
The integrated environmental control system automatically regulates humidity and airflow. This shortens the growing cycle and increases harvest reliability. The Supercool growbox operates efficiently and is designed for indoor use in living spaces.

Using the mushroom grow cabinet
The Crownow Supercool growbox is designed with simplicity and reliability in mind. With automatic control of the most important environmental factors, you can begin growing without additional tools. This system allows you to avoid the complexity of traditional mushroom cultivation and immediately benefit from a modern, automated solution.
Crownow Supercool Growbox manual
This practical grow cabinet comes with a brief manual, reflecting how straightforward the process is. This is how we achieved success at Dutch-Headshop:
- Clean the inside of the growbox with disinfectant alcohol. Use the convenient wipes from the recommended products.
- Start the grow kit as described in the manual accessed via the QR code on the packaging.
- Fill the growbox water reservoir to about two thirds. Overfilling may cause leakage.
- Instead of placing the mushroom grow kit in the bag after activation, place it inside this grow cabinet.
- Switch on the growbox and turn on the light using the buttons at the front.
- Within a few weeks your mushrooms will be ready for harvest. The exact timing and what to look out for are explained in the manual after scanning the QR code on the packaging of your ordered mushrooms.
Growing tip from Dutch-Headshop: do not wait too long to harvest. Harvest when the caps begin to separate from the stems. If you wait until the caps curl upward, your grow container will turn purple from spores and the mushrooms will lose potency.
