This is how you grow mushrooms with a grow kit

Psilocybe cubensis (yellow sticker)

For all Dutch-Headshop mushroom grow kits with a yellow sticker and grow kits from other brands of the species Psilocybe cubensis.*

The species Psilocybe cubensis has many "strains" (variations, races or cultivars). This cultivation information is specifically for, among others:

Golden Teacher, McKennaii, Penis Envy, Jack Frost, Blue Ghost, True Albino Teacher, Avery's Albino, Yeti, Rusty White, B+, B-, Mazatapec, Colombian, Mexican, Ecuadorian, Blue Ghost, Hill Billy, Thai, Ban Hua Thai, Cambodian, PES Amazonian, PES Hawaii.

 

Not sure which species? Then you probably have a variation of the species above. For other species:

Psilocybe azurescens (blue sticker)

For Dutch-Headshop mushroom spawn with a blue sticker and spawn from other brands of the species Psilocybe azurescens.*

*Psilocybe azurescens is not sold as a grow kit, but as spawn. Spawn is a starter for multiplying the fungus which eventually produces mushrooms. Azurescens can only be grown outdoors. That’s why we call it an "outdoor" species. Azurescens is also known as "Flying Saucers". It is the mushroom with the highest amount of active compounds in the world.

 

Panaeolus cyanescens (pink sticker)

*There are several varieties of Panaeolus cyanescens. The best known are Hawaiian and Florida. They are also known as "Blue Meanies" and "Copelandia".
