Are you a fan of skunk weed? Then your mouth will definitely start watering when the pungent smell comes on as soon as the first buds develop. The typical skunky taste with earthy and sweet notes is divine for skunk fans. The effect, despite majority indica genetics, is very hybrid. After smoking or vaping you will experience a short energetic rush. This feeling soon turns into a relaxing stone with a feeling of weightlessness. 

Growth and yield

Skunk #1 flowers in 45 to 50 days (about 6 to 7 weeks). This puts her in the Fast Flowering category. This seed is perfect for outdoor growers in Western Europe who don't have a long, sunny summer. She is ready to harvest as early as the end of September/early October. The plants are very sturdy and can take some beating. The Skunk #1 strain is also good indoors due to its low and compact structure. Plants grow to an average of 60-80 cm (with peaks just over the meter) with a maximum yield of 300 g/m2. 

Growing tips from Dutch-Headshop

Skunk #1 is very resilient. You don't have to use any growing techniques to succeed, but she is suitable for Sea of Green (SOG), Screen of Green (SCROG), supercropping and lollipop growing. Given its short flowering period, we recommend long (pre-) growing. Use a root stimulator and soil conditioner to get her fully prepared for the short but intense flowering phase.
