What does IBL mean?

IBL is the abbreviation for Inbred Line or inbred genetics. IBL weed plants and seeds are normally only for internal use by professional growers because they are so valuable. To qualify as IBL, a plant must have been crossed with the same plant for about ten generations that also contains the same external (phenotypic) traits. So for growers, it takes a lot of time and energy to grow these plants. But what is the value to you?

White Widow history

Although the exact origin of this strain is controversial up to the present day, we can guarantee that the original White Widow is a classic strain that first has been cultivated in The Netherlands.

The original White Widow is created with a pure Sativa Landras from Brazil, and is fertilized with an Indica hybrid from the south of India. This Indica hybrid is, according to the legend, the result of years of selection in a nursery in the mountains of Kerala. The purpose was to create a cannabis plant with high levels of resin and THC.

Flavour and Effects Original White Widow IBL Weed

Original White Widow IBL smells and tastes nice and mild, floral and sweet. There is definitely a hint of pine needles in the smell, thanks to the relatively high pine content. The combination of myrcene, pineene, and the THC percentage of over twenty percent creates a powerful physical stoned effect. Although she contains as much sativa as indica genetics, a euphoric high is hardly noticeable. This Original White Widow is one to lounge on the couch with at the end of the day.

Growth and Yield

Is simplicity a high priority for you or do you have limited space in the grow room? Because White Widow is easily bent in all directions through LST, ScrOG and SOG, it is a very manageable plant. A high calyx to leaf ratio makes harvesting less time consuming. You'll spend less time cutting away leaves to get your hands on the much desired flower that contains the most snow-white resin glands to which she owes her name. Grown indoors, she can yield up to 500 grams per square meter, while outdoors, up to 700 grams per plant can be cut from her modest buds. And they are rock hard and dripping with resin.
