What growing area is the Mars Hydro FC 3000 LED Grow Light suitable for?

The FC 3000 is highly suitable for a growing area of one square metre and can even illuminate a 110x110 cm grow tent effectively. A 300-watt LED grow light can replace a 400-watt HID fixture with HPS or MH bulbs. In short, growing with LEDs is more energy-efficient.

The Mars Hydro FC 3000 is equipped with no fewer than 896 LED chips. These LEDs deliver an impressive efficiency of 2.85 µmol/J. In simple terms, that means more light for less money! A PPF rating of 855 µmol/s is normally associated with an LED grow light that requires 10 to 20% more power. It features a warm-white LED (3000K) to encourage flowering, a blue-white LED (5000K) to support vigorous vegetative growth and a special deep-red LED at 650-665 nm for especially dense flowers.

Highly even light distribution

Mars Hydro provided us with the following tips for the FC 3000. You can keep the height of the lamp relative to the tops of the plants the same when using the dimming function. Without added CO2, hang the grow light 30 centimetres above the plants. If you add CO2, you can position the light even lower: 20 cm above your plants. Use the dimmer with the following settings:
