Food-grade moisture absorber packets
These silica gel packets are food-grade and therefore suitable for direct use with food and other sensitive products. They effectively absorb excess moisture and help prevent mold growth, condensation and quality loss. Ideal for storage, transport and long-term keeping where hygiene and safety matter. They contain no toxic substances. The warning on the packets simply means you shouldn’t eat the packets themselves. That can cause dehydration, so don’t. :)
Silica gel for drying and storing mushrooms
When drying mushrooms, you can speed up the process by up to a day by placing a few silica gel packets on the plate or in the tray where you’re drying them. And for storage, moisture control is especially important. These silica gel packets help keep dried mushrooms dry during storage. This preserves texture and quality better and greatly reduces the risk of spoilage, so they last longer.
Silica gel for storing magic truffles
Silica gel is also a practical solution for magic truffles. If you store them after opening, it’s best to keep them in a zip bag (see recommended products). Press the air out and seal the bag. The silica gel prevents truffles from reabsorbing moisture. This way you store your magic truffles longer and more reliably.

Silica gel or humidity-regulating packs for drying weed?
Silica gel is mainly suited for keeping products completely dry. When drying weed, silica gel can be useful in the early stage, but it can work too fast. For a finer humidity balance during drying and storage, it’s better to use specific humidity-regulating packs. We’ve listed them in the recommended products so you can easily find them in our webshop.
What’s in the pack
The pack contains 200 individual silica gel packets of 2 grams each. This makes it easy to use the right amount of moisture absorption per package, jar or bag, for both small and larger applications.
